Login Process
Step 1: Launch Qaptly
Open Qaptly from your Applications folder. The login dialog will appear.Step 2: Enter Credentials
- Enter your email address
- Enter your password
- Click Login
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
If your organization has enabled 2FA:- After entering credentials, you’ll be prompted for a verification code
- Check your authenticator app or email for the code
- Enter the code to complete login
Onboarding Flow
First-time users will be guided through the onboarding process:1. Welcome Screen
- Brief introduction to Qaptly features
- Overview of what you can accomplish
2. Organization Setup
- Select or create your organization/group
- Configure basic organization settings
3. Preference Configuration
- Choose your preferred language (English, Japanese, Chinese)
- Set default display preferences
4. Feature Tour
- Interactive walkthrough of main features
- Tips for getting started quickly
Multi-Group Access
Switching Groups
If you have access to multiple organizations (groups):- Click your user avatar in the left sidebar
- In the dropdown menu, you’ll see available groups
- Click on a group to switch to it
Group-Specific Data
Each group has isolated data:- Test cases and test pools
- Device configurations
- Analysis sessions
- Settings
Session Management
Session Duration
- Sessions remain active based on your organization’s settings
- You’ll be automatically logged out after a period of inactivity
Logging Out
- Click your user avatar in the left sidebar
- Click Logout
